Little Majors Spot was purchased in 1991 as an untouched cay with nothing on its beaches but natural beauty. Judy, the new owner, had no prior experience with island living - she didn't even know how to operate a boat - yet she connected with the magic of the Exumas and the warmth of the local community and decided to build a life here in the outer islands. Because of the way she lives her life and the way she has loved the Cay, the locals referred to her as The Gutsy Lady.
End of Another Perfect Day in Paradise
In the 28 years since, Judy has turned Little Majors Spot into a home. The island has been enjoyed by countless family and friends, including her fifteen grandchildren, who grew up exploring the shores together and collecting every conch shell, hermit crab and sand dollar along the way.
For nearly three decades, the family has visited the island to connect with one another, the environment and the local community that they love. Now, we invite you all to experience the magic and majesty that is Little Majors Spot.
